MP Chocolates Delivery Policy

At MP Chocolates, we pride ourselves on delivering your order in optimal condition and take extra care when packaging your goods prior to delivery.  We use a combination of polystyrene boxes, bubble wrap and dry ice to ensure your chocolate does not melt in warmer temperature conditions.

As we use Australia Post Express service, we only deliver from Monday to Thursday.  We do not deliver to Northern Territory as deliveries often take more than 2 days, which can result in melted chocolate upon delivery.  If you did not specify a Post Box delivery address, your order will most likely end up at your local post office in any case, so please ensure you check for parcels regularly to ensure you take possession of your order as soon as possible.

Is there a lead-time?

As we are a small business, we do have a potential 7-day lead-time in getting your order ready for delivery.  If we have the product you ordered in stock, we will send your order the following business day (excluding Friday-Sunday).  If we do not have the product in stock, it may take up to 7 days for us to make your order to send.  If you are concerned with the 7-day lead-time, please give us a call to find out more information.  

What are the delivery costs and how long will delivery take?

Please note: Delivery restrictions

Please beware we only deliver to customers who live within a 50km radius of each state capital city in Australia excluding Northern Territory,  ?and a 20km radius of regional cities within Victoria and New South Wales.
If you live outside these areas please contact us for a quote and delivery information.

Personalised Note for Gifts

If you are sending chocolate as a gift, we will include a note in an envelope free of charge.  Simply specify your message on the delivery information page during the checkout process. 
Note that we do not include invoices in any deliveries.  A separate email will be sent to you with the attached invoice after the order is placed.

Disclaimer

Australia Post are committed to providing high quality mail and parcel services to all Australians, however there may be times when parcels are delayed in the delivery process at busy times of the year which we cannot control.

Returns & Refunds

MP Chocolates cannot exchange or refund goods due to the perishable nature of chocolates, so please place your order carefully.

Goods Damaged on Delivery

MP Chocolates is not responsible for goods damaged in transit but will consider any claims made if they are made within 24 hours upon delivery of goods.  Your claim must be supported by photographic evidence.  If you wish to claim your order as damaged on delivery, please email us photo’s of the damaged goods.  We cannot be held responsible for orders that have melted upon delivery as we always include sufficient amounts of synthetic dry ice and packaging to ensure the weather does not affect your order. 

Payment Options

All orders must be prepaid and made during the checkout process of placing your order.  Purchasing online with your credit card or using PayPal is the simplest and most convenient way of shopping. Simply fill in your details and we charge the amount accordingly.  MP Chocolates accepts most major credit cards: VISA & MasterCard.

All care has been taken in preparing this website but no responsibility can be taken for errors and omissions. Prices and details may be subject to amendment without notice due to price fluctuations of raw commodities. Prices listed are in Australian Dollars and include GST. MPC makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site. MPC will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental punitive and consequential damages.

Privacy Statement

At MPC we respect your right to privacy. When you provide MPC with your name, e-mail address, mailing address, or telephone number, and you “opt in”, you will receive our subscriber e-mail, new products, special offers, updated information, and other MPC related information. MPC does not offer, or allow the selling of, any user-provided information to third parties.

MPC respects the rights users give us when opting to receive e-mail communications and enforces internal policies to preserve those rights. It is our objective to retain the long-term ability to continue to communicate with our users. When you visit the MPC website, our Internet Service Provider makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes: your server address, your top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc).  MPC will not make an attempt to identify visitors or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service Provider’s logs.

Forms and Email Addresses

We will only store your e-mail address if you send us a message or provide it via a form on our website. Your e-mail address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent (which may be given by you in the act of filling in a form and will be clearly indicated). Your email address may be used to invite you to join a mailing list directly related to your purchase or enquiry at MPC.

This site does not provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet. Users should be aware that there are inherent risks transmitting information across the Internet.
